I didn't create it as recruiting propaganda. I didn't create it to make it a product for mainstream. I created it to be a product that would chronicle the year that my fellow soldiers and I spent as Task Force Liberty. I'm sorry if it doesn't meet your expectations, but you were not the audience I produced it for.

**Also, all footage can be found at www.dvidshub.net They have news segments and b-roll, if you so desire. Contact information is also available on that site to order footage in broadcast quality.

Dear Jessica,

I have watched your labor of love and was wondering if might be able to use a small amount of your footage. I am hoping to eventually put a documentary together and liked what you did.

I personally don't like the videos with music because I need raw sounds to make my anti-jihad songs and I am sick of the 20-30 something alternative pop music. I do like to see our troops kicking ass though, so thanks for that. Please post any raw footage (sound quality is most important to me). Thanks again.

That one review comparing our propaganda to Jihadi throat slashing videos is disgraceful and uncalled for. I am really starting to think you guys should come home though... so we can drop every nuke we have. Thanks for putting your ass on the line while people sit home and talk shit.

Video is ok, but the job you are doing over there is awesome. I am afraid that as competent as we may be on the battlefield, the war for the perception of the american and global opinion is almost unwinnable. No matter what happens, we will be big brother, great satan, uncle samhain... whatever. Damn shame.

Just know that at least one person still has respect for our country and our armed forces, both are the best of best, period. I mean, you guys are like the SS on redbull, kick ass! Come home safe and leave lots of craters.

SPC Booker--I am stationed with one of the folks you went to Iraq with. I REALLY need your permission to..."creatively adjust" the beginning of your video to match this guy's ego.
We are doing a Hail and Farewell for him tonight (he is Active; augmented the 42d in OIF 3), and we are having a agoing away party for him tomorrrow night.
My contact information is on AKO.

Victory movies are one of the easiest ways to recruit support. It's excellent propaganda, but really nothing more than that. Both sides do it, not JUST Americans.
This is a film that contains no art, or skill in its creation.
I give this two stars because any moron could duplicate it.

This video was produced for family members of by our soldiers from the 42nd infantry division. I found it very enjoyable, it made me proud of the men and women that volunteer to serve so the rest of us can live free. What the video shows is what nearly anyone that has been to Iraq knows, and that is the majority of the people are glad Saddam is gone. They also know we are the only thing currently standing between them and opression at the hands of the militant Muslims.

There are those that would rather we fail in Iraq than Bush be proven right and you can expect those kind of people to give this video unflattering reviews.

Subject: this is not where you belong
Technically, a nice video. Artistically... well the soundtrack is cheese but the lyrics are quite fitting: not where you belong, demons that drag me down. However, a U2 song has no place in any silly video trying to glorify war. These poor bastards need to get the hell out of there before the DU kicks in. ETS and capitalize on GI Bill, Army College Fund, Hazlewood Act .. hell just stand on a street corner displaying your DD214 and wait for the so called "support" avowed by so may fireside patriots. The troops and the Iraqs are due reparations. We'll have to wait and see how our govt doles them out.
